Pramod established Genpact (formerly GE Capital International Services) in 1997 and under his leadership pioneered the Business Process Outsourcing industry that has grown dramatically since the inception of Genpact. Genpact has also pioneered this industry in Dalian China and in Eastern Europe. Today Genpact is a global leader in Business Services and Technology Solutions and serves its customers from the US Mexico UK Eastern Europe Philippines China and India employing over 26000 associates across a wide range of business processes technologies and industries. Pramod was earlier an Officer of GE a $150-billion diversified technology media and financial services company. His career with GE and RCA spanned 25 years and included postings in the U.S. where he served as CFO for GE Capital's Corporate Finance Group and in India where he most recently was head of GE Capital in India and Asia. Pramod is a Chartered Accountant from Thomson McLintock & Co. London and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Delhi University.
